Dr. Seoin Baek
Dr. Seoin Baek is an assistant professor in the Department of Chinese Studies and the Department of Robotics at Hanyang University’s ERICA campus. He earned his B.E. from the Department of Measurement Control Technology and Instrumentation at Tsinghua University’s School of Mechanical Engineering in 2010. He obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Innovation and Technology Management, College of Business at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2013 and 2017, respectively. Prior to joining Hanyang University, Dr. Baek served as an associate research fellow and Head of Science & Technology Diplomacy Policy Research Office at the Science and Technology Policy Institute (STEPI). His research focuses on innovation policy and strategy at the firm, industry, and country levels.
